Talks & Events

The Met provides opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to engage more deeply with opera—whether in the house or on the streets of New York City. Ticket holders can take advantage of free pre-performances lectures throughout the season, as well as a range of Public Programming events throughout the five boroughs. We also continue to partner with community organizations like children’s museums, libraries, and educational nonprofits on special screenings, workshops, and performances.
