Community Partners

Join us for the annual Lincoln Center Open House, a campus-wide weekend of creativity, community, and exhilarating performances for families and audiences of all ages—all for free.

We’re partnering with Brooklyn Children’s Museum in support of Children’s Grief Awareness Day. Attendees will enjoy excerpts from Puccini’s La Bohème and complete their own versions of the aria “Vecchia zimarra, senti.”

Join us at Children’s Museum of Manhattan to kick off the holiday season with special activities and performances from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, featuring members of the Met’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program.

We joined the Museum of Modern Art’s Uniqlo Family Day to offer two workshops on color, sound, and emotion inspired by Gabriela Lena Frank’s opera El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego.

We joined forces with Artistic Noise to bring their artists to the Met for a backstage tour and workshop focusing on the design elements and musical language of operas featuring painters and illustrators.

We brought the magic of opera to the Arts & Culture days Kids Week at the Intrepid Museum, with a range of activities, games, and giveaways inspired by Puccini’s classic romance La Bohème.
