The Met’s Lesson Plan Library offers a variety of lessons that can be used to activate opera-based learning in the classroom. The Library covers a range of topics, from basic plot exploration to original composition. These lessons are designed to be flexible, with multiple scaffolding options that allow educators to apply them to any opera in diverse classroom settings. Most of the lessons included below are generic, but some are tailored to specific operas.
