Spring Open House

The Met will host its fifth annual Spring Open House prior to the matinee performance of Aida on a date to be announced; more information is forthcoming later this season. The Open House allows young audiences and opera newcomers to take part in hands-on musical explorations and experience behind-the-scenes demonstrations by members of the Met’s backstage and artistic staff—including the Wigs and Makeup, Costumes and Wardrobe, and Scenic and Props departments, in addition to musicians, singers, and actors.
